Privacy

Nothing. There is no sign-up, no contact form and no newsletter. If you want to reach us you send an email, and then we hold that email — your address and whatever you wrote — for as long as it takes to answer you and keep a record of the work.

There are none. No Google Analytics, no advertising or social pixels, no fingerprinting, no third-party scripts of any kind. We do not build a profile of you, and we have nothing to sell or share.

Our hosting provider keeps ordinary web-server logs — the address of the requesting computer, the time, the page asked for, the browser. They exist to keep the site up and to investigate abuse, they are held by the provider on our behalf, and they are not used to identify or profile anyone.

Records and films on this site are shown as a still image with a play button. Nothing is requested from Spotify, YouTube or Vimeo until you press one. If you do, that player loads from the provider, who then sees the request and applies their own privacy policy — Spotify’s, Google’s, or Vimeo’s. Until you press play, none of them know you are here.

Under the GDPR you may ask what personal data we hold, have it corrected or erased, and object to our using it. In practice, for a visitor to this site, the answer is usually that we hold nothing.
